1. What is the new NetSuite two-factor (2FA) requirement?
To provide an extra level of security, NetSuite 2018.2 release requires all NetSuite users with privileged roles to use two-factor authentication (2FA). 2FA requires the user to provide the second authentication factor when requested and is therefore unsuitable for integrations, which need to run in a fully automated, unattended mode.
Consequently, we are requiring all Celigo integrations* to use NetSuite connections with the more secure and reliable Token-Based Authentication (TBA). This will allow integrations to run in a fully automated, unattended mode.
2. Will I need to make changes to my Celigo integrations?
Yes, certain NetSuite integrations from Celigo, you will need to make changes when using “Basic” authentication type. If your integrations are set up with “Token” for all NetSuite connections, you do not need to make changes.
